This builds on 20 years as an award winning film and television producer working for the BBC, ITV, Channel Four, major international channels and her own independent production company Formation Films.

Cause Entertainment Venture Fund (India)

Introducing the investment opportunity to sophisticated high net worth individuals and institutional investors, recommend projects to help build a pipeline for investments in socially conscious cinema in India. The fund target is $30 million of which $5 million have been secured.

Mentoring Producer and Conference Speaker at The Circle Conference in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

In 2007, Parminder Vir OBE was the mentoring producer for the first Shasha Grant with Graham Taylor of Endeavour Entertainment and the writer/director Soman Chainani USA, was the joint winner for his project Love Marriage.

In 2008 she mentored writer /director Hicham Ayouch from Morocco, who won the Shasha Grant prize for his project Samba Do Maazouz. This film has been optioned by Fox International for further development and production.

In 2009 she mentored writer/director Annemarie Jacir from Palestine, who was awarded special prize to present her film When I saw You, at the Australian Film Market to raise finance.

The Circle Conference is the initiative of ADACH, which offers an international screenwriting competition for the Shasha Grant, which includes a $100,000 award, designed to help identify, develop and launch the careers of outstanding regional filmmakers.

Film fund investing in talent from the emerging markets to produce cross-cultural films for the global market. Sourced single film projects, structured and negotiated the financing of two international film slates, and introduced new investor base to the company, including high net worth individuals, who view film as an asset class.
