Parminder Vir has a wealth of award winning production experience of drama, documentary, current affairs and entertainment working for Carlton Television, BBC, ITV, Channel Four and major international channels. She has worked with filmmakers from India, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Asia.

 

Independent Film & TV Producer

This is to work with Producers who have strong track record in developing, structuring and producing feature films for the international market, and directors and writers with a strong sense of creative and commercial storytelling. IWC will invest in films which can attract distribution and an international sales agent. In the first year, IWC attracted over 200 film projects from around the world. From these 10 film projects were selected for consideration and IWC made investments in three film projects valued at $40m.

 

ITV & BBC Executive Producer

She worked for ITV, Carlton Television and BBC on award winning factual, documentary, drama and comedy series including EMMA and MOBO Awards, Single Voices, Developing Stories and Our War.

 

Programme Advisor

She was a programme advisor to Hat Trick Productions on diverse talent, marketing and PR for Meera Syal’s Life in Not All Ha Ha Hee Hee for BBC and advisor to Ruby Films on Brick Lane.
